The Ysgol Trefeurig Development is pleased to announce that thanks to funding from NIACE Dysgu Cymru we are able to offer FREE IT taster sessions as part of Adult Learners Week (9th – 16th May 2009).
The sessions will be held on:
Thursday 14th May
11.00 – 12.00 hrs. Getting Started for older learners.
19.00 – 21.00 hrs. Get More out of your Computer – for those who already
have some experience with computers.
Saturday 16th May
14.00 – 15.00 hrs. Introduction to IT for all ages
15.00 – 17.00 hrs. Genealogy and the Internet
Come and join us at our refurbished IT Room at Yr Hen Ysgol Trefeurig Community Centre, Penbontrhydybeddau, Cwmsymlog, Aberystwyth,
SY23 3EZ
A contribution towards respite care costs for Carers wishing to attend the taster sessions is available and transport sharing can be arranged for those within Trefeurig parish.
Anyone wishing to attend the Taster Sessions should book by ringing John Nelson on 01970 828178 or Jane Guest 01970 820125.

The taster sessions will be followed up by 6 weekly IT Classes commencing Thursday 21st May.

Session 2. – Email
Session 3. – How to have more friends without leaving your armchair
(Facebook and Social Networks)
Session 4. – Digital Photography
Session 5. – Shopping on-line/Ebay
Session 6. - Genealogy
The complete course (six sessions) will cost £15.00 payable in advance or alternatively £5 per session. All courses or sessions will need to be booked in advance.
